Tests of building ceramics products
In the Laboratory Research Department FERROCARBO Sp. z o. o. research building ceramics products we perform in the Building Materials and Aggregates Laboratory and in the Chemical Laboratory.
The tests of building ceramics products include:
- testing of ceramic wall elements type P and U (full brick, clinker brick, checkered brick, perforated brick, block, shaper, hollow brick, hollow brick MAX - currently these are trade names, but commonly used by the construction industry)
- testing of ventilation ceramic bricks
- implemented by us
- testing of silicate wall elements
- testing of wall elements made of autoclaved aerated concrete
We do tests
We carry out type and control tests of construction ceramic products in accordance with the applicable standards:
- Polish PN-EN
- industry PN-B
- European EN.
In order to meet the requirements of customers who expect from us comprehensive laboratory services and often consultancy in the selection of appropriate research methods, we constantly improve our competences and analyze the industry, looking for the best solutions and research methods for testing construction products.
At the client's request, we organize:
- accredited sampling of ceramic masonry elements according to the following standards:
- PN-EN 771-1+A1:2015-10 Annex A
- PN-EN 771-1+A1:2015-10/Ap1:2018-08
- accredited sampling of ventilation ceramic bricks according to the standard PN-B-12014:2009
We do full research construction products zgodnie z wymaganiami aktualnie obowiązujących norm wraz z oznaczeniem stężenia pierwiastków naturalnie promieniotwórczych inaczej nazywanym stężeniem aktywności radionuklidu 40K, 214Bi, 208Tl, 226Ra, 232Th oraz obliczeniem wskaźnika stężenia promieniotwórczego I według aktualnie obowiązującego Rozporządzenia Ministra Rady Ministrów z dnia 17.12.2020 r. Badania wyrobów budowlanych wykonywane są w laboratorium badawczym FERROCARBO od 2007 r. przez doświadczonych i przeszkolonych pracowników po kierunkach chemicznych, ceramicznych i budowlanych, którzy swoją wiedzę i umiejętności w badaniach wykorzystują każdego dnia. Badania wyrobów budowlanych wykonywane są przy użyciu regularnie sprawdzanego i wzorcowanego wyposażenia pomiarowego.
Construction ceramics includes all products made of mixtures whose main component is a clay material - clay, which loses its plasticity during firing at high temperature and becomes a durable construction product. The FERROCARBO Laboratory Testing Department performs testing various types of building ceramics products. Regularnie wykonywane badania pozwalają na sprawdzenie i skuteczne uniknięcie wad produkcyjnych. Nasze akredytowane laboratorium przeprowadza badania typu oraz kontrolne wyrobów ceramiki budowlanej tj. elementy murowe ceramiczne, dachówki, pustaki wentylacyjne. W obszarze nieakredytowanym wykonujemy badania elementów murowych silikatowych czy elementów murowych z autoklawizowanego betonu komórkowego
Research of masonry elements
In our laboratory, we carry out testing of masonry elementsi.e. dimensions, shape and structure, compressive strength, resistance to freezing and thawing, or water absorption. A great advantage of using our services is, above all, the certainty that all analyzes will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the relevant standards by experienced and qualified employees.
